Two nights in Dubai at this time of year is more than enough. At least I avoided the tourist chaos and overpriced nonsense around the Marina.

Ajman offers equally as good hotels, excellent cuisine, cheaper drinks and quiet beaches and it’s close to the natural beauty of the East coast and the Indian Ocean for a day trip…

It’s a bit ominous though that there is a giant Corniche development underway by the name of Ajman Masterplan 2040, featuring a Chinese port and Chinese real estate programmes.
