Bangkok, Thailand, March 18th, 2025

Caught the Thai flight from Chiang Mai into Bangers yesterday afternoon and feeling a bit worse for wear today after an evening at the Stumble Inn – what a crazy place that is.

A quiet penultimate day in BKK with another trip to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho and then a sensible night later before the overnighter tomorrow via Doha back to the two-tier, bankrupt, communist dictatorship of broken Britain.

Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. It is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. King Rama I rebuilt the temple complex on an earlier site and some of his ashes are enshrined here. It houses a school of Thai medicine and is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.
