Always wondered what it would be like to be a passenger in a Tuk Tuk on a GP circuit.
This morning I discovered you spend as much time sideways on the rear bench seat as Arne Hertz must have been in Hannu’s Eaton Yale Escort.
Crossed Bangkok from the centre to the far west on dual carriageways and back alleys to see Big Buddha, only to discover he’s having a facelift and scaffolding is everywhere.
Braved the journey back as the morning temperatures began to soar and now it’s coffee break o’clock off a side street near Nana before heading out again.
A quick livener at the bar overlooking the Chao Phraya River at the stunning Shangri-La, a wander down the riverside and back in a tuk tuk to the hotel to cool down after a pedicure. It’s the hot season here and humidity is off the scale.
