A morning stroll through Downtown San José after a delightful brekkie and the freshest pineapple you will ever taste. I actually felt safer in the favelas in Rio de Janeiro. It’s the rainy season so the weather will break late morning and storms will set in soon.
Torrential rain and low-lying cloud on arrival into San José. It is rainy season. A bit disappointed with the location of the hotel and the clued up taxi driver advising me not to go walkabout after dark around here.
Then I have to sign a disclaimer at check-in about the risks associated with being here… ffs.
