Day 7: Bozeman to Billings
A shorter run of around 150 miles in an easterly direction across southern Montana via Livingston, Big Timber and Reed Point to spend the night in Billings on the banks of the Yellowstone River. A fuel stop in Laurel, a quick shot of a sleeping bison and the afternoon in Billings.
Stopped for coffee in Livingston and a divine breakfast muffin in Big Timber with three old boys sitting on the next table with a couple of shot guns talking about hunting…
