A very sobering and eye-opening afternoon in the Rochina Favela in Rio.
In several places there was no way I could take photos, particularly on two street corners where a small group of late teens were sitting with beers, a couple of pistols and two AK47s pedalling whatever…

I managed to get a brave taxi to drive me through Cidade de Deus (City of God) on the way back to Barra as well but only managed a couple of pics…
